Photographing Jen and her son Henry was such a joy. It was a big day for Hen, with a change of school in the morning and both excitement and anticipation rising and the sun was setting, a walk in the woods was just what we all needed.

Magic - an awesome photographer
I was nervous about having professional photos taken because I usually feel so awkward in front of the camera. Plus with all the iPhone photos I have, a part of me didn’t see the point, but I’m so happy that I did. The photos Mel took are outstanding- far better than anything I could achieve. They are ethereal and magical and I will treasure them forever. What’s even better is that Mel was so professional, Henry and I didn’t even know she was taking pictures- there was no awkward posing, just a lovely walk in the woods. I’m so happy with my photos and I can’t recommend Mel highly enough!
I was really flattered to see Jen’s review, I had no idea that she was nervous in front of the lens as she definitely did not show it and I am so glad that she is happy with the photographs. I feel there was a special magic in the woods with spring around eh corner and it’s so wonderful that she felt that in the images.
